POSITION FOR
JUNIOR PRODUCER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- To take briefs from internal teams or clients on video or photography projects.
- To identify the scope of work and to plan resources allocation & timeline.
- To evaluate if the project can be achieved with in-house resources or do we engage a production house or external parties to assist.
- To manage video or photography projects and allocate resources to complete tasks as well as manage the timeline.
- To manage the team’s work schedule and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met as efficiently as possible.
- To source for freelancers with the right skillset when resources are low.
- To engage with production houses (film & photography) and negotiate costings to ensure budget and expectations of the clients are met. This includes creating and managing the agency’s current production house contacts.
- To ensure quality of the production meets expectations of internal teams and clients.
- To source suitable talents or engage talent’s agency to complete the task.
- To report to and work with the Producer on the above mentioned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Film Studies, Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
- Familiar with emerging and current talented directors to engage the best vendors for each project.
- A problem-solver who can identify and resolve challenges or issues effectively and maturely when they arise during projects and internally.
- Is independent and mature, with passion for storytelling, production & problem solving.
- A team player looking for a growing & dynamic environment that is interested in breaking the mold & assisting in shaping and championing a new hybrid of production, content development & agency.
