POSITION OPEN FOR SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST

THE JOB
  • Work closely with the creative team and brand director to bridge the gap between a content idea and the trend within the Bahasa Malaysia segment, manage social media and brand pages, execute content, execute campaigns, integrate, and coordinate in completing day-to-day tasks and client servicing.
  • Producing a consistent brand message across all social media channels.
  • Scheduling social media posts.
  • Creating paid social media campaigns for advertising.
  • Monitoring social media metrics and ROI.
  • Preparing social media engagement and activities reports.
  • Optimizing social media content actively and effectively.
  • Working with other departments to develop social media timelines that coincide with the product release, ad campaigns, and other brand messages.
  • Coordinating with the Creative/Creator & Influencer team and other team members to deliver the task in time and ensure the deliverables meet industry standards.
  • Conduct market, consumer, and competitor analysis.
  • Developing a social media refreshment plan, onboarding plan, and pitch proposal.
  • Picking up quality topic trends and making them relevant to brands.
  • Observe the performance of page/ campaign performance and proactively propose an optimisation strategy.
  • Analyse performance through social analytics, media reporting, and web analytics to identify meaningful opportunities to improve client outcomes.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and best social media practices.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven one or two years of work experience as a Social Media Analyst, Social Media Strategist, Social Media Executive, or a similar position.
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing, social media landscape, digital marketing campaign development and familiarity with marketing analytics tools
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand the engagement metrics and KPIs.
  • Experience in setting up social media business pages and ad boosting
  • Excellent knowledge of research requirements for social media strategy.
  • Sound knowledge of social media scheduling platforms.
  • Strong oral skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia / Mandarin.
  • Excellent writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia / Mandarin.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Great proposal writing skills
  • Familiar with communication/marketing planning and strategy
  • Hands-on experience with digital brand building for brands
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated
